John Lin
My name is John Lin and I am currently a private equity associate at Bayview Asset Management based in New York. Prior to joining Bayview, I was an investment banking analyst at Citi working across M&A, capital markets, and strategic advisory engagements. I grew up in New York and graduated from Boston University in 2020. Throughout my time in college and in my career, I have benefited greatly from the support and mentorship of friends and colleagues, and I hope to pay it forward by being an encouraging and guiding resource for aspiring students who are navigating their own career paths.

James Zhang
Hi! I’m James Zhang and I currently work in investment banking at Citi’s Global Consumer & Retail Group, based in New York City. I graduated with a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce, where I concentrated in finance and minored in economics. Ultimately, it was my desire to understand how and why various companies made strategic decisions at the corporate level that drove me into working in investment banking, where I’ve had opportunities to engage with C-suite executives on a deep level to understand their fundamental business models. It’s certainly an extremely intellectually stimulating career, and I look forward to aiding you in your path to success as well!
Clay Campbell
I am a private equity associate at Great Hill Partners and was previously an investment banking analyst in the consumer & retail group at Citi. I graduated from the University of Richmond in 2019 with a BA in Business Administration with concentrations in finance and economics. My decision to pursue a career in finance, and more specifically investment banking, was largely informed by my desire to develop a broad-based foundation that would position me to pursue my *previously undiscovered* passions down the line. I can help you learn about investment banking and whether it is the right fit for you.
